Our History
Founded in 1985 the Upper Kanawha Valley Economic Development Corporation (UVKEDC) serves 11 municipalities in the Kanawha and Fayette County areas of West Virginia. In 2024 the Upper Kanawha Valley Economic Development Corporation voted to re-form the Upper Kanawha Valley Chamber of Commerce due to the identified need of the creation of more small businesses in the Valley.
Our organization is a group that meets monthly to work together for the addition, growth, and expansion of business in the Upper Kanawha Valley.

Offers resources and support for entrepreneurs in Kanawha County and surrounding areas.
Fayette County Chamber of Commerce
Supports local businesses and promotes economic development in Fayette County.
West Virginia Chamber of Commerce
Statewide organization advocating for business-friendly policies in West Virginia.
Kanawha County UKAN Grant
Provides funding assistance for Kanawha County businesses and nonprofits.
